(More customer reviews)It's hard to find a good winter boot that you can actually wear to work, with a suit even, or around town without looking like you just came out to shovel the driveway, or are about to hike through the Yukon.
I really liked the look of the boot, I had an 11.5M, I ordered a half size up as I have wide feet, and these were not offered in a wide fitting. However, and for those with wide feet, this was not too narrow, or uncomfortable.
Leather upper, water resistant (that's resistant, not proof), and a nice chunky sole and welt, means it's functional too, in cold wet weather or slush and snow flurries.
I may have been unlucky, as as soon as I tried mine on one of the front zippers closed but upon reopening popped open, broken, and meant I had to send them back for a refund.
Regardless of that however, the zips and cross strap were cheaply made, and didn't look like they would stand up to much anyway, which is a shame considering that the rest of the boot was pretty solid.
The cross strap itself was another issue, you certainly wouldn't want to have to put these on in a hurry, and using the zips was pretty impossible by just loosening the Velcro strap over, you have to completely pull it out of it's D ring the other side and hold it away from the boot to use the zips.
I noticed that Skechers make the exact same boot with laces, maybe that's the way to go, as this if anything take s longer to put on and do up than a regular laced boot.
