(More customer reviews)I LOVE Skecher's. Most of my shoes are Skecher's. It was time to buy a new pair of Sneaker's. What could be better than getting a pair of the one's you love so much you've worn them out?
Only they've changed them. I loved these Sassies because you didn't have to lace them up. Just slip into them. And they are so pretty with the rainbow of pastel colors.
They came yesterday. I felt so smart that I hadn't spent hours shopping for new ones I wouldn't like as much in the mall. I was so confident that I ripped open the packaging knowing I wouldn't be needing it to send them back.
Then I tried them on. The back kept slipping off and something felt different but I couldn't see what was different. Finally had to sit on the floor and carefully study both pair. The wedge is taller so the back sits lower on your heel. The opening on top of your ankle is bigger. Both differences contribute to the heel flopping off which makes it impossible to walk or jog. I am so disappointed.
I've ordered Skecher's before online after seeing them in a store. It's always worked out great before. I was so happy to be getting the same pair. Now I have to find a way to send them back and still shop for some other brand of slip-on's. (You're on your own for Shipping) The directions say not to DEFACE the box returning them. How rude is that. Shipping both ways will end up being 1/2 the price of the shoes. Not a good deal.
I will still buy lots of Skecher's but not this way.
