(More customer reviews)My 7 year old daughter loved these shoes the minute she saw them at a local department store. This was the first time I let her pick out, on her own, a pair of gym shoes. Unfortunately, the shoes just fall apart. The first thing that came apart was the fabric on the toe of the shoe (where the rhinestones and lights are). The fabric pulls up/unglues and starts to fray within a week. The glitter cracks along the lace holes and now less than one month later the rubber around the bottom (where it says Skechers) is peeling off the canvas at pressure points where her foot bends. Only some of the lights are still working at this point but that seems so minor when compared with the other problems.
My daughter has told me other girls in her class have had the same problems and some have even returned them. I am sooooo disappointed in these shoes. Skechers should be ashamed of themselves for making such an eye catching shoe of such poor quality. They have lost me as a customer!
