They are a very pretty shade of pink, they look comfortable (no complaints from my little one) and are sturdy. The only thing about sequins on shoes is that the individual sequins are not glued down, the are sewn down. If she rubs against anything, they will flip over and show their silver sides. I think after time they'll look pretty bad, but that's true with all her shoes. Also they are not velcro or buckles--they're good old fashioned laces! Perfect for learning.
