(More customer reviews)This is the second pair of Skechers my son has owned. The first pair were Aerators that also sported lights. Nice looking shoes, but They looked totally beaten up within one month - the trim coming off, strings hanging off, stretched out sides - and my son is not particularly hard on shoes. To add to our disappointment, the lights on one shoe then stopped working. This is why young children buy these shoes! The online retailer made an exception and took them back as defective. Of course, we had to find new sneaker ASAP for PE class and there were no deals to be found on Skechers, so we settled for a pretty generic sneaker. This year my son decided he wanted light-up shoes again - he loved the look of the Damager. We bought them from amazon.com and wouldn't you know - within a month they looked like they had been worn for 6 and nearly all of the lights stopped working! Theses were no longer available in his size and we had to return them for a partial refund. Amazon generously made an exception and credited the return shipping when I complained that the item was defective within a month of purchase. Even my 7-year-old (who used to be enthralled with the status and looks of Skechers) now calls these "junk" and won't consider buying them anymore.

He'll get an ultra-sporty look and true athletic comfort with the Damager sneaker from Skechers. Its leather and mesh upper is breathable and supportive, and it has plenty of padding inside to cushion his step. He'll also love the easy hook and loop strap that looks cool and will help him get ready in a flash.
