(More customer reviews)I got these right before 2 snow storms hit almost back to back and so glad I did. Here is my list of pros and cons.
Stats: I am 5'0 and my calf is 14 in.
Pros: The color. I have the grey and black and have not had any trouble with matching clothing to them.
Rubber around the bottom portion. Helps keep them dry.
The sole. They have great traction.
Lace up. No matter what size your leg is, they will be fitted without gaps or being too snug.
Fur/soft black lining. Is more comfy feeling and the fur can be visible at the top when you are wearing them to add a flare of style.
Water proof/thinsulate. You can have a stylish boot that is comfortable and still keeps your feet dry.
Cons: Rubber around bottom portion. As it is a pro, it also is a con in my opinion only because my feet get quite cold in these. I did mention that we have snow and that is why they are cold..because I am walking through several inches of it and so it makes the rubber very cold even when I double my socks. I wont dock a star for this though.
They are not knee high. I do not need them to be but they don't need to advertise them as knee high if they are not.
Overall, I really do love these boots. I have had several people ask me where I got them and say they love them too. I like that I am not getting snow down in my shoes or the bottom of my jeans soaking wet from walking through it. Even when I have to just run out to my car for something I leave the top 2 eyelets unlaced and that makes them very easy and quick to put on. I highly recommend these and after finding them here at Amazon (for $40 cheaper than I paid in a dept. store) I am thinking I may need another color!
