(More customer reviews)With the number of reviewers noting repeat purchases, I bought these several weeks ago, and have been extremely happy with them. One week in, I had to replace a flat tire in the sleet and, kneeling in a puddle of gas station water (and subsequently spending four days tromping through snow in them), these definitely proved to be nicely water resistant.
For me, there has been NO breaking-in period - comfortable from day one - and I have done, in just a few weeks' ownership, a good bit of hiking already. I will absolutely buy these again.
After about four YEARS of trying to find a good oxford shoe, and compromising more than once (no more Mudd or Rocket Dogg, EVER!), I'm entirely satisfied for the first time in ages. As some have noted, a gel insert doesn't go amiss (an arch support might not be out of place either; Skechers doesn't overdo their arches), but these are very good shoes and quite comfortable. I am very, *very* happy with these shoes!
