I spent two solid days at a conference recently and did not feel any different at 8:00am and 5:00pm. These shoes are just what the doctor ordered and my doctor did not order them. In the past when I have used arch supports, my feet ached and felt sore after using them. These shoes feel as if I have worn them for months. There was no break in period. The next pair of shoes I buy will be Mephisto.
