I bought them for my 10 year old and the sole came away from the sneaker in less than a week of nominal use (the glue did not hold). We were able to return the sneakers and were promised that it was an "fluke" and that Sketchers are well made. So we (foolishly) replaced them with another pair of the same style. The second pair lasted a bit longer (a couple of months) before they were unwearable - again the glue did not hold. Granted, kids are tough on their sneakers, but they should last more than a couple of months.
I strongly recommend finding a higher quality sneaker at this price point. Although comfortable, they simply do not hold up.

He can do all the exploring that he wants in this sneaker from Skechers. The non-marking rubber sole adds traction, padded linings provide comfort and support, and a the hook-and-loop closure is easy to use. Reflective accents on the upper offer a spacey look that will make him want to wear this shoe every day.
