I'm a career firefighter and work on an ambulance part-time, so I've tried a variety of uniform shoes and boots. By far, this has been the most comfortable uniform shoe I've ever worn. It offers good support and allows me to work on my feet for extended periods of time without the fatigue I'd felt in other shoes.
Unfortunately, the shoes do not seem to have a long life span. A couple of months ago, rough spots began to form on the toes. Upon inspection, the polished leather seems to be a thin veneer that was pulling away from the shoe. Recently, I found myself working in the rain in these shoes and the leather skin pulled away from the shoe in several places. This is a major drawback to this shoe. However, I will be purchasing another pair because of the comfort they provide.
