(More customer reviews)I've been buying shoes for a long time....I have 4 growing girls and buy new shoes at least twice a year. I've never felt compelled to write a review before now. Of all the shoes we've ever bought I must say these are by far the cutest, but the worst quality. We bought the blue and pink twinkle toes as new school shoes for our kindergartner this past fall of 2010. They are definitely cute & people have even stopped us to look and comment about how cute they are. But after the first 2 months they began to literally fall apart...first the lights stopped working altogether on the left shoe, the right shoe stopped twinkling but left one light glowing nonstop and so bright that I even tried to black it out with a sharpie, and only 2 months after buying. If it was just the lights that failed tho, I wouldn't question the overall quality, however, after that everything about the shoe started falling apart: the skecher logo on the sides of each of the shoes peeled off, the canvas at the toe of both shoes lifted off, a hole wore through the sole on each heel and even the plastic coating on the ends of the shoelaces came off! In all the shoes we've used, we've never worn holes in the heels, or had the shoelaces fall apart! This is by far the cutest but worst quality shoe we've ever bought.
