I constantly use non-slips due to my working in foodservice, I'm just looking for a good non-slip, hope this review helps-
Pros:
great look
great feel once worn in, comfortable to be on for long hours (I should know)
excellent grip and non-slip tread, as well as depth of tread, pattern looks cool
any food or debris that gets into the treads knocks out easily at the end of a long shift.
Cons:
tread on bottom wore down rapidly, within 2 months showed serious wear on heel
bottom of shoe with tread started peeling off around mid august (due to wear down of bottom material around the heel)
All in all, the rubber the bottom sole is made out of is just too soft for my liking, resulting in a quick weardown. If the material were more hardly while still retaining the non slip properties this shoe would be a serious hit for me, as the upper body is still solid.
Might go check out a more expensive kind or go with another one in the price range, about $40 for a pair of shoes that took a lot of abuse and lasted 4 months? not too bad, but still looking for something a little longer lasting...
