(More customer reviews)I obtained a wonderful bargain on Amazon in comparison to the outrageous, non-discounted price being charged at Kohl's department store. But I had also heard rumors of litigation and injuries associated with this shoe type, so my hinky back and arthritic locomotion problems approached them with bargain-hunters elation but a small degree of trepidation.
My husband-who consistently wears a black men's version for work-swears by them. He walks quite a bit and stands ten hours, six days, on a concrete floor. His encouragement swayed me to go ahead and buy.
They do take some getting used to. You balance very differently on this sole by design, and it is off-putting. You have the sensation that you are about to tip over backward. As for the posture and exercise benefits, I think it is still too early to be convinced that my world has been positively rocked. Perhaps if I wore then every day, but I won't.
I definitely don't like them as much as a discontinued, laceless Skechers style with a more traditional sole I repeatedly purchased over several years. After three weeks, I am still lukewarm.

The XF Shape Ups from Skechers doesn't scream for attention, if fact, most people won't realize you're wearing a fitness sneaker. A soft suede upper features perforated side panels outside and a padded collar, soft fabric lining and cushioned footbed inside. Best of all, a specially designed outsole produces an enhanced resistance affect accelerating muscle activation, so you receive more benefit from every step.
