That was 2 years ago, I still wear the shoes a LOT and they still look new. I admit that it could be that Skechers just fits my foot properly every time...hense my closet full of Skechers shoes. I have a long skinny foot with a freakishly high arch. This shoe is perfect for me, the lift in the heel is great to take the pressure off my low back,the arch support keeps my feet from throbbing when I'm on my feet all day long. I will take this shoe over any thin sole bone pounding ballet flat any day of the week.
